Natural Disaster Survival (not to be confused with Survive the Disasters) is a 2008 survival game created by stickmasterluke. The players must survive (mostly) natural disasters on a random map that spawns on an empty green island.

Why It Survives

1. The game is one of the most iconic, classic ROBLOX games in history, alongside Survive the Disasters.
2. Great variety of disasters, from tornadoes, sandstorms, and blizzards, to flash floods, volcanoes, and tsunamis!
3. The maps looked good for 2008, including the lobby.
4. While the game has a few microtransactions, they are very cheap; only costing 80 Robux, which is equivalent to $0.99.
   • The gamepasses are actually useful. The balloon can keep you safe from fall damage most of the time and the apple heals you when you eat it.
5. It uses a fall damage system, which makes the game harder and more realistic.
6. The multi-disaster engine that makes it so there could be multiple disasters!
7. The map, Party Palace's music is simplistic yet catchy and cheerful, and feels like you are actually in an amusement park/circus.

Bad Qualities

1. The fall damage system can be broken sometimes, as you can take lots of damage while the building you are in just keeps moving rapidly.
2. When you are on a brick while you are holding a balloon and it is vibrating rapidly, it can fling you upwards to the sky really fast, causing you to later explode while your balloon pops.
3. The fire disaster is notorious for being way too easy as all you have to do is to just stay on the grass, and never step in anything that isn't grass.
4. Although accessible on the Xbox version, you can't even move, essentially making this version pointless to play.
5. As mentioned above, due to the game having microtransactions, it can be somewhat pay-to-win.

Reception

The game was extrenely positively recieved by Roblox players when the game first released and as time went by. The game is often considered to be a classic Roblox games, and is sometimes called one of the best Roblox games of all time. (Insert visits, favorites, likes and dislikes here.) The game reached 1 billion visits by February 25th of 2020.

Trivia

• Originally, the game was just a black and empty baseplate until some day in November of 2011, when the game's name was updated to "Disaster testing". On December 4th of 2011, the full version of the game was released.
• There was a glitch where you can survive some of the disasters by just standing still, although it was patched.
